Thanks to Rachel I am now the proud owner of a running stroller which is perfect because I joined a local workout group and am training for two triathalons in the latter part of the summer! I still need a bike helmet, swim goggles, and a cap if anyone has any inside info! Wish me luck :).
Furthermore, while the rest of the country freezes to death, it seems like La Grande is in a vortex of spring. Three days last week I was seriously tempted to go to the park... but Grandma's backyard would have to do and Sydney loved the swing. The last time she was in one she was kind of indifferent, but I guess these four months have made a big difference. I'm sure we'll be spending more time outside soon since my bulbs are already beginning to bloom!I know this picture is blurry but you get the idea! Sydney has developed an affection for hugs. She hugs everything, books, blocks, people, dolls, bears, the floor (a video of that to come) and drags her doll and bear around with her a lot more.
Sydney also has fun playing when she gets to visit Daddy at work!
And last of all, the earlier video as promised.... and Sydney walking! We rearranged a little bit to give her more room and she can walk across the house without falling. She doesn't always it depends on her mood but she definetely capable and will be up and running as soon as she wants too :). Yes, yes I know my life will be so much more crazy, but that was inevitable wasn't it?
Today Sydney bit down on my finger and scratched it! After almost 3 weeks of those little bumps moving up and down in Sydney's mouth, one of the three has finally popped all the way through. I think I could count on my hands the number of times Sydney was fussy enough for me to have to give her tylenol so considering how long I have been able to see corners of teeth and Sydneys chewing on everything I feel very very blessed. Hopefully the last two bumps will turn into teeth soon and all our future teeth adventures wont live up to the horrors I've heard about either :-).
Yesterday I paid a deposit for Andy's Commercial license finish up! We will be going to Dallas for almost three weeks at the end of April and staying with my parents while Andy trains in Addison. I am excited to be able to see the end of the 'schooling' tunnel. YAY! Plus it'll be fun to take a couple trips while we are finishing up the last few licenses. It'll be a busy summer ahead but I'm excited to be able to move to a new place within the next year or so and be that much closer to settled down :).
So my mom got me this new shirt and I was sooo excited when I put it on and realized it has thumb pockets! For those of you who don't know what that is I'm truly sorry. It makes me happy. I have a sweatshirt with thumb pockets and I love it... so here's to keeping my hands warm :).
In other news.... Sydney got a present from daddy the other day and loves it... Its a tank for Glo-Fish for her room. She can even say ish now and will go bang on the door to see her new friends... and she's becoming more and more of a big helper as evidenced in the pictures below. (I'm not sure if evidenced is a word or correct but oh well!)
