Easter

Our Easter this year was pretty laid back. The kids had fun with a little egg hunt in the living room on Sunday morning and Sydney was very nice to share her eggs with Wynn since he was more interested in eating their contents then finding them. Nemesis even got in on the fun when she discovered the edible Easter grass. Then later in the day we had Liz over for dinner and did our annual Easter Egg story the items that symbolized things about Christ in the eggs. It was actually a nice Spring day here in Juneau, so the kids Easter clothes were quite fitting for the weather! Now that the holiday marathon is over, we're left to finish tackling house projects and wait for summer to really begin!

Spring Fever

I wouldn't be lying to say we're getting Spring Fever. It seems every other week the weather starts to warm up and bit and the sun comes out, in the meantime we've been getting creative. Wynn CANNOT hold still and is sooooo ready to be outside. He's learned a few new games from big sister to keep him occupied. 

 They love to spin in circles together until the fall down.

High-fives are a new favorite.

When all else fails, we turn to our in home zoo. We even got Bandit to sit on Wynn's car and ride it around the room. 

Finally, in desperation, I brought the slide in from the yard... complete with several towels since its got a bit of water in it for the kids to burn out their energy on. Its been about 10 days and is just now seeming to get old.
