Snow day

We finally made the time to go up skiing. My winter camping excursion with friends motivated me enough! Andy is so nice to me :). He had had a very long week at work and just wanted to veg but instead we went up the mountain at my request and spend the better part of the day in the snow. Sydney worked on her downhill skiing and I'm so sad that somehow we deleted my pics I took of her. As we were taking turns working with her however, a very nice ski instructor came up and starting giving her and us some pointers. He ended up just taking over teaching her and worked with her for over an hour one on one. By the end of her time with him she was skiing down the tow-lift hill all by herself! It was awesome. We couldn't have gotten her that far ourselves. The other kids had fun playing on the sledding hill and Abby finally decided she likes to sled or "ride" as she calls it. After we were done on the hills Andy took us over and taught us how to make a small a-frame snow cave. The kids were tired and it started to snow by the end but we powered through and it was fun to learn. The snow only has a few weeks left before the resort closes so our next trip up will likely be next winter.

Static rules

Ive been eyeing used trampolines for a while now and one day I came across a listing Id already seen before back in October. I was able to get a great deal since the owners just wanted it gone. All the kids have liked playing on it and it has been really helpful in the morning when Im doing chores and Wynn needs to burn some energy. I hope to put it in ground soon but our lot is hard to find a suitable location. For now its over our gravel driveway and the kids are having a blast! Abbys hair is so fine that she gets a complete afro when she runs around. Its super cute to see all her hair stand on end!

All I want for spring...

Sydneys two front teeth had been lose for more than six months before they finally both fell out one weekend. The first one fell out on its own but I had to convince the other one to fall out too with a quarter bribe  and a few tries of pulling on it with some floss.
