Abby's 5th

 This year Abby has a dolphin rescue party since she has learned to love dolphins! We went to see Winter the Dolphin at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in February and she still talks about it. At her party they fished trash out of the ocean, pinned the prosthetic tail on Winter, and beat up the shark pinata :D. We topped it all off by playing some games in the hot tub. Abby truly is a social butterfly and she has lots of friends. She seems to attract people to her and is very sweet to her friends. She learns fast, is eager to help and give hugs, and is super silly. She loves the scriptures and knows lots of stories from them and likes to share them with everyone who will listen. She also loves to sing and frequently sings to herself when she is sad to cheer herself up. We love you so much Abby! I can't imagine our family without you. Happy 5th birthday!!

Shine Preschool Graduation

Abby has loved being at Shine Preschool so much this year. Her teachers Miss Jenna and Miss Hannah were so sweet to her. She finished up learning all her alphabet, learned to read, made tons of new friends and learned lots of New Testament bible stories. She had a great year and is so excited for Kindergarten in the fall.

Answered prayer

I had a great experience the other day I wanted to record. While Andy and I were in Bend for his with, we also needed to pick up the plane to bring home because it had been having some work done on it there. When we got in the plane it still wouldn't start. We were both worried since it was a five hour drive from home and we both needed to get to work that morning. I was already praying in my mind and then Andy asked if I would say a prayer aloud. I felt the spirit knowing we were both thinking the same thing and sharing in our faith that the Lord would help us. We said our prayer and then the engine sputtered a bit the next time he turned the kids to and finally started. We were both so grateful that the Lord heard and answered our prayer. It strengthened my testimony of his reality, love for me, and presence in my life. I am grateful he was there to help us that day.
