2022 Spring Break

For spring break we went to Rapid City, South Dakota. Our first stop was Mt. Rushmore. None of us had been there before. It was very interesting, and the kids had fun getting their Junior Ranger badges.

After the monument, we visited the Crazy Horse Monument. Then we took a drive through Custer State Park on the wildlife loop! The bison surrounded the car and licked the sides. It was super funny!

In town we visited the Presidents statues downtown and the Air and Space museum. 

We also visited the Badlands National Park Ave the kids got another Junior Ranger park. The mountains jagged tops and multiple colors are amazing. 

Arizona visit

We made our annual trip to Arizona the first week in March to visit the McNeills. It is always awesome to visit them in the cold of our winter. This year Isabel and Hyrum will be leaving to serve their missions, so I was really glad we got to see them. We liked spending the in the mountain and at the Desert Museum in Tucson with their family. We are so blessed that we can travel to see them every year.

Family Pictures 2022

We had our family pictures taken at Riverside Park in Billings, Montana. This park runs along the Yellowstone River.

Double date

We have made some great friends in Billings already. We went on a double date and tried out axe throwing for the first time. I was kind of scared at first, but it was fun. This picture was the only bullseye I made and it happened to be at the same time as Paige. How fun!
