Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we stayed home so we decided to forgoe the traditional dinner and each make a dessert instead. We had some rolls and deli ham to go with it! Sydney choose to make a pineapple upside down cake and Snickers Apple "Salad." Wynn's dessert choice was a fruit platter and Abby wanted to make peppermint ice cream sandwiches. The next day we headed up to Chico Hot Springs for the night with some friends and enjoyed the hot springs. It's super cold getting out though!! 

United fall soccer

This fall Abby played soccer with the Billings United soccer club. Her team had a hard year and didn't win a single game but she loves it anyway. Abby is an encouraging teammate and was able to see their improvement anyway. It was a good experience for her and she's looking forward to the spring. 

Halloween

For Halloween this year Abby was a cat, Wynn was a track star and Sydney was Medusa <3

Wynn ran his first year of middle school Cross Country and Abby continued with the elementary school program this year. They had a fun season!

Alaska on the Crown Princess

Andy came with me on a Seminar at Sea with Princess Cruises to Alaska. It was just as beautiful as I remember it. The water was stunningly smooth the first morning and it looked like we were sailing on glass. We visited the Port of Ketchikan and had fun hiking around town and outside of it on the Salmon trail. Even the smell of the salmon run brought back good memories! We saw a blue heron, picked red  huckleberries, watched birds, and ate at the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to in my life on the ship. It was a great week!

Seminar at Sea with Laurel!

I attended a seminar at sea on the amazing Wonder of the Seas and my friend, Laurel, tagged along! We visited CocoCay, did all the activities onboard, kayaked, snorkeled and visited some ruins. It was awesome!! I also worked a little bit too :-D

Packs visit

 After Nicole's wedding, Grandma and Grandpa Pack came back to Billings and spent a week with us. It was fun having them here. We spent some time out of town hiking at Fairy Lake during the day since it was so smoky. Grandpa was also able to give Sydney her patriarchal blessing and it was a very special experience.
