Wildlife at the Falls

 I loved seeing all the different wildlife in the Iguazu Falls National Park. Check out these cool butterflies and animals!

Iguazu Falls

 On the trip, we visited both Argentinian and Brazilian sides of Iguazu Falls. The Brazil side gave a panoramic view and the Argentina side had trails where you could see different parts of the falls including the very top of it called the Devil's Throat. It was amazing to see how much water went over the edge, 1.5 million liters per second. After hiking around, we got on boat that took us to see the waterfalls from the river at the bottom and even drove us through one of them! It was crazy. There was so much water is was hard to breathe. Seeing the falls was a bucket list experience for Andy ever since he served his mission in Brazil, and it was special to go see it with him!

Argentina

We took a big trip to Argentina and Brazil in September. Grandma and Grandpa Pack were very kind and came to stay with the kids. I'll cover each part of the trip separately so I don't leave anything out. Our first few days were in Buenos Aires Argentina!

We took a cooking class to learn how to make empanadas and alfajores from a local

Buenos Aires was an interesting city with unique architecture and a thriving nightlife!

 

Casper Temple Open House

We spent Labor Weekend in Casper, Wyoming with our friends, the Murdocks. We had a lot of fun hanging out and attended the Casper Wyoming temple open house. It was super special to see a new house of the Lord and talk to the kids about the different ordinances performed there. I love to see all the new temples being built and am very grateful for the peace and perspective they bring to my life.
