All Grown Up....

Sydney is getting soooo big! She can stand almost anywhere, walk around almost anything and even can walk halfway across the room now without falling. She's been getting encouraged by her friend Beckett and all this big kids at MOPS. For those who don't know I started going and absolutely love it. It is just what I needed to get together with other moms and be able to talk while Sydney watches and tries to play with the other kids. Its really made me feel more like spending quality time with Sydney when wer at home because its not always the same day in or day out. Anyway, I think it is an awesome program where moms and thier kids can make friends and learn too. I've been trying for a long time to find somewhere regular to go and socialize and get a little break. Andy and I ahve talked a lot about it and I really feel like this was an answer to my prayers. It may not seem like it, but I really need the social interaction just to keep myself positive and optimistic. I am so grateful for all the little things that worked together to finally give me the courage to go and meet people ven though I didn't know a single person there. And I feel very blessed for all the moms there who took the time to stay with me and talk to me. I know it was an answer to my prayers, and I really hope in a while even after we leave La Grande I can find another group wtih awesome women to keep going to. In addition to that, I'm considering training with some moms I met for the end of summer triathalon so stay tuned for more updates on how thats going. I've just been doing my elliptical and strength training videos lately but if I can locate a cheap running stroller and borrow a bike (Anyone have someone or someplace in mind?) I may just be able to pull it off. I'm not gonna try and win. Some moms says they just jog and walk and take it easy. Thats what I want! Mostly I'll just do it for the social aspect. Anyway here is a pic of Sydney looking up at me and the camera and of her walking between Andy and I. Enjoy!

PS Sydney continues to swim better and better all the time. She can hold her breath underwater now for a whole two seconds! We love working with her and it gives us a fun activity to do as a family a couple times a week.
