Sydney's set two records in the past day. The first was last night when we came home from our date. Andy handed Sydney a picture of Grandpa and Grandma Pack and she said, "Thank you dada, for the picture of the beach and ocean." That's an 11 word sentence!
The second thing was when she was playing this morning, she made her tallest tower of blocks ever. I did not help AT ALL. I just sat and watched. I took the picture at about 8 because I was afraid it would fall, but it didn't until block number 13! Almost as tall as Sydney before it fell :)

I was filling out more of Sydney's baby book and decided some of you might be interested in the stuff I was writing... so here goes:
I love to play with... my piano
My favorite game... anything on the computer
I love to wear... my sparkly shoes, squeaky shoes, Zoey slippers, any shoes
My favorite books... library books and Mickey Mouse books
My best friend... Bekham Hibbert
I sleep with... my pink blankie and binkie
My favorite color... purple
My favorite snack... grapes
I love to sing... "5 Little Monkeys Swinging in the Tree" and "I Know You" (From Sleeping Beauty)
My special TV friends... Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
I help Mommy and Daddy by... unloading the dishwasher, bringing (more like dragging) in/emptying grocery bags, putting away laundry

Yesterday's Funniest Moment
Sydney has been into dancing lately. So yesterday morning I was sitting on the floor with Sydney and there was some music in the background. I started moving my head around trying to get her to dance but she just look up at me and said, "Mama... what doin?" in a "sarcastic" voice. I couldn't help but laugh, but I guess she's already gonna tell me when I look stupid.

Squeaky Shoes
When Brent and Donna came back from China they had surprises for everyone! Sydney was the lucky recipient of some squeaky shoes! She and Kaylee had to switch since Sydney's shoes were too small and Kaylee's too big, but Sydney absolutely loves them. In fact, I have to hide them otherwise she'd wear them all day long. The yare thei nstant cure for fussiness and they really don't bother me for the first few hours. The other day she demanded she wear them however when we were going to library... luckily Brent and Donna told me about a nifty plug in the heel which if unplugged makes the squeaking stop. Who knew!? The best part was she still liked them and didn't seem upset that the squeak was gone for a while!

The Clubhouse
Sydney still loves Mickey Mouse. We have to limit her to one show before nap and one after because she would watch it all day long. She's also taken a liking to sitting on a blanket when she watches TV. So the other morning I laid out her blanket and proceeded to clean the kitchen. When I came out this is what I found. She loves all her clubhouse characters that Grandma Pack gave her and calls them 'the Clubhouse' as a whole. Anyway, I guess she went and got them all from their 'Night night basket' and laid them out to watch with her :). What a cutie!

Its Official
Andy's degree in Aviation Science Professional Pilot emphasis was officially posted on Tuesday! We're both excited about that and now its on to a job search. I have to say I'm kind of itching for some change so though I have bouts of anxiety, overall I'm ready for something new :)

Oh my Goodness
Sydney gets more and more expressive every day. Today she shocked me with two examples of how she picks up on everything. We were walking through Walmart and I wasn't paying much attention when suddenly I hear, "Dangit, mama." I turned to find she had dropped the paper she was holding. Oops, I really didn't think it would be that hard to stop saying certain phrases but I am still trying Sydney to sound like a teenager when shes three. About an hour later we were home and Sydney was helping me with the groceries when I heard her say, "Oh! My goodness." Now that I don't say... the only person I know who says that is Papa Shinsel. Ha... ever since that she's been saying it about every 5 minutes. The best part was when she said, "Oh! Where'd my goodness go?" Which confirms that she really has no idea what the phrase is for. I think its so funny that she thinks 'my goodness' is an object of some sort. Anyway, I guess our goal of watching our mouths just moved up a notch on the list :).
