After Nicole's wedding, Grandma and Grandpa Pack came back to Billings and spent a week with us. It was fun having them here. We spent some time out of town hiking at Fairy Lake during the day since it was so smoky. Grandpa was also able to give Sydney her patriarchal blessing and it was a very special experience.

Nicole's wedding and BYU game
We drove to Utah to go to Nicole's wedding one Labor Day weekend. She got married in the Mount Timpanogos temple to Brendan Abbott. After the wedding we had a BBQ in the mountains with family and friends. Then we took the kids to a BYU football game. It was a fast and furious super fun weekend!!
Summer Tennis
Wynn and Abby have enjoyed playing tennis the last year. They did a summer camp and then Wynn competed in a day tournament at the end. He took first in his age group!

Northeast Road Trip
Abby was SO WORN OUT after our long road trip. We started in Syracuse, New York visiting Andy's boss for a lake weekend in the Thousand Islands area of the Northern Country. It was beautiful! Then we drove to Palmyra and visited the Sacred Grove and the Hill Cumorah. We spent an hour or so in Scranton, PA, home of The Office, and then headed down to Hershey World in Hershey, PA.
Finally we spent a few days in Washington DC visiting my brother Paul (or Allen :) ) whose living there right now on a special assignment with the FBI. There is so much to cover for that part of the trip, but my favorite part was the Pentagon memorial for those who died in the 9/11 attack in 2001. It was beautiful to see a bench for each victim arranged by their age and facing the direction of either the plane or the building based on where they were killed. It really made an impact on all of us. We saw the memorials, visited the Museum of Natural History, Museum of Air and Space, National Archives, Arlington National Cemetery, National Zoo and then made a quick stop at Fort McHenry to see the birthplace of the national anthem before we flew home.
