Pumpkin Patch

When we went into Boise to go to the temple , we took the kids to a pumpkin patch to stretch their legs after a long day in the car. Wynn wasn't so sure about the bouncy "pillow" at first but warmed up after a while. I thought both kids would be excited to try the pumpkin cannon, but I guess it turned out to be too loud for them. They enjoyed riding several kids trains and playing in the corn. Abby had fun playing in the corn too and has me trying to figure out if there is something I can put in our sandbox that won't rot but is less messy because they had so much fun! The kids wanted to go through the "creature" and I was really surprised that they didn't chicken out. Wynn lead the way and seemed to enjoy finding his way through the dark maze while Sydney was a little timid. It was a fun little outing and I look forward to it next year!

I also wanted to note how grateful I am to live where we can attend the temple regularly. It is such a blessing to feel close to the Savior there and have our faith strengthened. I look forward to being able to go and learn/pray each month. I know it will bless our family and help us become stronger. I really enjoyed the recent video produced by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints regarding sacred temple clothing and garments. It was very informative and great reminder of the invaluable blessing these articles of clothing are for me and my family in life. You can view the video here...
