Cincy trip

I took a week and accompanied Andy to Cincinnati for a work trip. We flew into Indianapolis, and spent our Valentine's Day wandering around downtown. We found a neat little shop called Soda Fizz with tons of novelty sodas. We may have bought too many.

It snowed the next night just after we got to Cincinnati. That city shut completely down just for a few inches of snow; it was kind of ridiculous. We had to have pizza and watch a movie in our hotel room because there were no restaurants or fast food places open. While Andy worked the next few days I explored the city as best I could with things closed down and spent my last day in Kentucky at the Newport Kentucky aquarium. I loved it. It was such a nice relaxing break to get away on our own and have some time to myself. I'm super grateful to everybody who helped with the kids while we were gone.

Homeschool ski/snowboard lessons

This year the kids took lessons up at Anthony Lakes Ski resort. Sydney is downhill skiing, Wynn is snowboarding, and I am teaching Abby how to cross country ski. They have been such troopers! Skiing and snowboarding have a lot of falls in the beginning but they have been super tough and got back up again and again. They've had a good time and I'm grateful they've had the opportunity.
