Christmas

We've been so busy moving and such that I have yet to post about Christmas. Grandma and Grandpa Pack were still visiting over Christmas and it was fun to have them around. I was worried that our little apartment would drive me crazy after Christmas with all the new gifts but it turned out all right :). We spent Christmas Eve at home mostly, but Andy and I snuck away for a little to see a movie while we still had willing sitters. Thanks Mom and Dad! Sydney got to make cookies for Santa while we were gona and then we watched a short nativity video before bed. Since Christmas was on a Sunday this year, we only did stockings before we headed off to church.  Both Sydney and Wynn got to sport their Christmas pjs and Sydney was excited to see all the presents under the tree. The rest of the day was spent slowly opening gifts, making dinner, and 'skyping' with family. It was a great relaxing Christmas and Sydney still asks me almost every day if its Christmas again today and how many months until the next Christmas.

December Fun

While we've been adjusting to our new little guy, we've got to do a lot of other fun things with both sets of grandparents being here for visits. Here are some pictures of our December activities...

The beginnings of sibling rivalry and love have begun! Sydney has been adjusting very well actually. She loves to help with Wynn and has completely accepted him as part of the family. We can tell she feels a little insecure and wants to make sure she is still noticed and important, but she is doing very well. She is missing her time with her mommy, but we're all adjusting in time.

We were grateful Papa was able to come for this past weekend so we could bless Wynn in church Sunday. It was a beautiful blessing. Unfortunately Wynn wet his outfit as soon as we got home from church so I don't have any pics of his blessing outfit :(. After I get it washed, we'll have to recreate the moment. Merry Christmas!
