We went to Disneyland the week before Mother's Day with Grandpa and Grandma Pack. The kids had a blast and did really well with all the walking. It sure wore us adults out! It was fun to be able to share the experience with Grandma and Grandpa. Sydney and Wynn were less excited about characters so Abby visited them mostly with Grandma and Grandpa while Sydney and Wynn tried out all the rides they could. They were both super brave! Sydney decided her favorite was Hyperspace mountain so we went back another day to make sure to ride that one again. Sydney and Wynn also got to do Jedi training and fight Kylo Ren; that was a super special experience. Abby got the most excited about seeing all the characters at the parade. It was so fun to watch her get so excited. She didn't want anything to do with the dark side characters from Star Wars and wouldn't take her eyes off Darth Vader when we went to meet him, so we didn't think she'd enjoy the Jedi training even though she was old enough. I think each of them definitely had some magic moments and will remember it for years to come :)! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for meeting us there and helping us have a great week. We love you!

Fourth birthday
Abby had a great birthday this year. She got to celebrate at school with a mini rainbow cupcake cake and then have her family and friends over in the evening. She chose to have a My Little Pony theme. Andy even helped her make a rainbow pinata. Each time we have made a pinata with the kids we have made it too strong, so we end up cutting a partial hole in it to compromise it so the kids can finally get the candy out. This time, Andy made its strength just right. Abby was able to break it open herself on the third round of whacking it. It was so fun to see her excitement that she got to break it open. Abby is a super smart and loving girl. She loves her siblings and is so excited when they come every day. She is very social and has lots of little friends. She plays really well with other kids and can have fun with about anyone. She loves to sing and even has volunteered to sing a solo during primary singing a time. She's a sweet girl. We love you Abby!
